Our Vintage Sari Products are upcycled from 40 to 50 year old Indian saris. Each one has a unique story, representing the very theme of India. All made of gorgeous, colorful silks and cottons, and each a one-of-a-kind treasure.

Vintage Brocade Silk Saris On Sale now only $29, original price $59. Each piece averages fifteen feet of luxurious brocade fabric. The sari (often spelled S A R E E) is a single piece of unstitched cloth with a decorative end piece, generally measuring around five to nine yards in length. Traditionally it is worn in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangeadesh, and Nepal, and is a functional garment worn every day. Derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Sati’, which translates as ‘a strip of cloth’, the origin of a garment similar to the sari can be traced back to the Indus Valley Civilization in north west India, during 2800 to 1800 BC.
