What is Buffalo Leather?

Top Grain Buffalo Leather. Leather: these chairs, loveseats, and sofas are made of nothing but top grain buffalo hide throughout. We buy buffalo hide as well as cowhide...but we find buffalo hide to be a little thicker and more durable. Frames: these pieces are constructed on frames made out of mango wood, which is a sustainably sourced hardwood with similar density and traits to oak. Cushions: all of our cushions are made out of high density foam, which is a little on the firm side and will need to be broken in over time. This ensures our cushions retain their shape. If we made them too soft initially, they would fall apart and sag within a couple of years.
